Hospital Physician Partners (“HPP”) is the nation’s fourth largest provider of emergency department (“ED”) management services to hospitals, offering physician recruitment, staffing, scheduling, and billing and collection services to over 120 hospitals in 20 states. Additionally, HPP manages several hospitalist programs, which oversee all of an inpatient’s treatment during their hospital stay. The medical services at the Company’s emergency department and hospitalist clients are provided through independent contractor arrangements with over 1,500 health care professionals.

HPP was formed through Fund III’s acquisition of Sterling Healthcare in June 2008 and EDCare Management in October 2008. The Company’s headquarters is in Fort Lauderdale with operations in Jacksonville, Florida and Durham, North Carolina.
